Michigan Film Finance LLC is the leading film finance company in Michigan. Founded in 2008, our mission is to work with producers and out-of-state lenders to assist them in financing their films while also maximizing the film incentive.

We can help producers finance the Michigan Film Production Tax Rebate as well as, in some cases, pre-sales and gap.

Michigan Film Finance LLC is based in Ferndale, Michigan (a 42% rebate “core” community) and qualifies for the maximum production incentive/rebate pursuant to Michigan’s film production incentives.

MFF can work with producers to provide film financing, loan processing and disbursement, and to perform all other necessary services so that the fees and interest expense associated with production financing are eligible for the Film Production Incentive in Michigan. This can result in substantial rebates/cost saving to the production.

In addition, MFF can sell the incentive at the conclusion of production, thereby expediting the conversion of the certified incentive to cash, providing immediate benefit to the producer and lender.
